   So the msx2 has a torn floppy drive cable because the glue tore off. Nobody is selling an equivalent cable except some eBay seller in Malaysia. Digikey doesn't sell it, you have to spend $1000 to get 1000 cables.

     @Pawlicker Just dissect some spare IDE cable and solder all the wires directly to pads.

     @mint floppy one would be better but the issue is the pads are so small that the guides online literally say to tear the plug off the drive and build an adapter
