     Aikatsu just died while Pretty Rhythm is actually doing great it seems, so as to why they cancelled the anime is unknown. It surely wasn't just going to be 50 eps as the last ep was weird as fuck, as if they hurriedly wrote an ending and then made it to be both a "it's the end for realsies" and "here's your sequel hook" at the same exact time
     
     JUST when the damn thing also started getting official subs too
