   I was talking with my friend and she told me if I can make websites, It’s nice to get a job.
   And I think if I can make something if it is website, it is great to start my way!
   And it is still not full, but I made it lightly.
   What are you thinking of?

     @thor I think I looks like I’m best for coding than other, but I want to try both. Design and Coding, it’s makes me fun.

     front end programming

     front end design

     the programming is what makes it function, and not just be a static page that does nothing.

     the design is the visuals, how it looks.

     which direction are you thinking about?

     and not so much the databases, and the other stuff behind the show? (back end)

     @Iliza_dAr usually these days people tend to specialise - front end (HTML/JS) or back end (Python/C#/Java/Ruby/etc) - but being full stack is attractive

     @Iliza_dAr you can get a programming job without a degree if you make a full site from scratch and show it off at the interviews - even more easily so if you already have some job experience

     @Iliza_dAr @thor if you just want to learn frontend web development you may find reading through something like WordPress themes useful. If you set up a WordPress site you can start playing around with various templates and pick them apart to see how different effects are achieved. You don't even need the site to be public.
     
     You won't find many sites these days that don't have some kind of dynamic content so few front end devs are righting pure html pages. Playing with WordPress you can kind of get a feel for how dynamic templating works

     @thor @Iliza_dAr yeah I personally don't care for WordPress, but I know several people who make it their lifes work and they can be pretty creative and don't seem hungry for more work. I mainly bring it up because learning how to build html templates is probably more useful than to build static sites from a professional point of view.

     @thatguyoverthere @Iliza_dAr many people make their living on customising WordPress sites, but it's quite messy. it's not elegant, but it works.

     @thor @Iliza_dAr I built a system that allows devs to build basically anything they want and have it deployed to a platform (kind of like kubernetes but different and locked down) and it turned out that 90% of the sites (maybe more) ended up being WordPress.

     @thatguyoverthere @Iliza_dAr i managed to avoid WordPress for most of my career. most of my jobs involved working on systems that didn't use WordPress. at one point, i did work a bit on a Magento site though.
