   Shooting color film is such a brainfuck when you’re used to composing in black and white.

   I even have the viewfinder in my digital camer set to b/w even though it records color RAW but an analog camera will just show your the world in it’s actual color and it’s strange 😅

     @esther I have quite steady hands, but only for twin reflex cameras, last time I was able to shot sharp images at 1/10 with Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex Ia 854/16

     I’ll have to revisit some locations today with a tripod after sundown. I have steady hands with a camera but not 1/15s or 1/8s steady. 😅

     (Film cameras usually don’t have any image stabilization)

     I’ve been out this evening shooting CineStill 800T and I was all over the place. I have absolutely no confidence with color film and just hope that my usual muscle memory for b/w exposures will sort of work.

     Plus the added thing of CineStill’s halation which I’ve never used before so it’s a total guess right now until I get a feeling for it.

     @esther oh you're right on 35mm is a different story. Plus in SLRs mirrors and non-central shutter make some additional vibrance during shooting

     @arek with a waist-level viewfinder i can probably stretch it a bit more by putting it against my torso too but this was with a 35mm SLR and a 24mm lens
