   I pulled most of the tomato plants today to make room for the fall garden. I planted lettuce, carrots, sugar snaps, green beans, broccoli and a couple of re-rooted tomato cuttings. We are on the cusp of being too chilly for the tomatoes but I'm gonna try it and see what happens. Tomorrow I'll make chow chow with the tomato I pulled off the old plants

     @TinyHouse4Life Have you tried growing Swiss Chard? I like it because it lives through the winter. I didn't grow any this year because I couldn't find any starts, and no volunteers popped up.

     @thatguyoverthere @TinyHouse4Life Chard isn't a beet green. It's a leaf, but not earthy tasting like beet greens. I put it in this chicken curry dish. You can steam like spinach or eat fresh.
