Most folks don't seem to realize it, but defaults play a big role. Even though ZSH is the default shell on macOS now, many prefer to go back to good ol' Bash. I suppose that having superior software does not guarantee success in a popularity contest where compatibility is crucial.

Windows 🪟 comes as default OS in most of the laptops and pre built desktop setups. -
