going to get a cane, maybe something with a heavy brass handle. I think everyone should get one. You're basically carrying around a club, a self defense weapon that could at any time be excused with "I have a bad knee". Going to be very prudent in the future, especially if you live in a blue-state.
actually if you look into the history of it, that's basically what it was in the 1800's, a melee weapon with plausible deniability
