     @csddumi @ellent They’re so completely in the wrong that they have zero arguments that can withstand any level of scrutiny. Instead their tactic is to add as much noise into the conversation as possible and dismiss any criticism as “nonsense” (or as Lord whateverthefuck from Facebook summarised one of my talks once: “Rubbish!”)

     The whole "ad lobby doesn't have a powerful message" thing is hilarious. As someone who used to work in marketing, I'd like to point out that coming up with powerful messages is literally their job. That they're being beaten, at their own game, by underfunded, amateur idealists, is beautiful.
