   Huh. If you delete a message in Matrix, its content gets redacted and becomes unavailable. But not its edits. Only the original version of the message gets deleted, but you can still see the text of every single edit.

     Also good job matrix, it actually doesn't mention redacting related events at all
     I already knew that redacting a post doesn't cause it to vanish from replies since they embed the content (lol), so I guess this actually makes sense as a logical consequence too; they're both just related events.
