     This is the thing that someone sent me, talking about how the cockpit flow is so alien between east and west. It’s not like flying civilian where things are paced how you want, and you can acclimate to a certain order of things. If youaren’t 100% comfy in that cockpit, you die. Given the way soviet stuff sounds, I bet this is fairly true, probably has a lot of old habit patterns that will take a couple years of constant flight in order to re-learn and overwrite in order to jump into a totally foreign system

     although this guy is still a faggot calling the F-35 a “cosmic spaceship”. Nig, it’s more automated and the menu flows are diff. The issue isn’t the complexity, it’s the habit patterns that don’t sync up.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Last I heard Russia has been improving their air defense tech constantly. Meanwhile the USA and the rest of the West has let their stuff rot. So how would an F-35 actually fare when faced with Russian AD radar and sam systems?

     Especially in a wartime situation where maintenance becomes much harder to keep up on.
