@nierenstein @YTFoidLover1488 I used to be like, 30% accepting, because I do know a couple hapas who turned out okay, successful, and married. But……they didn’t stay that way. Now, for whatever reason I’ve been stuck working with a handful of hapa/asian folk, between clients and coworkers w/ their asian (2nd/3rd) wives, their stepkids, hapa children…..it really is a non-starter.
Every asian type is diff, but man the guys who marry them are just…goobers. And the girls know they are, which is why they’re so mean and disrespectful. You though boomers were bad w/ “haha happy wife happy life I”m gonna be sleepin on the couch lol” shit? The guy married to a chinawoman will put that to shame.
They’ll brag - BRAG! - about how cruel their wife is, how she’s “a total ball buster, but that’s a good thing! She keeps me on my toes!”. When you see the whole clan together it becomes apparent, the guy was just an outboard motor, the economic propulsion needed for her to have a better life. When he burns out, she’ll replace him w/ another goober.

@nierenstein @YTFoidLover1488 One of our summer interns was a hapa daughter, and watching her interact w/ her dad at work had us looking at each other like this just about every time the two of them left the room.
At one point I said she needed to be nicer to her dad, and she proudly read a few of the texts she’d sent him in the last week, abusive enough you could get a restraining order if you showed them to a judge
