so: which classic mac system would you recommend to get into classic mac, and tinker with expansion cards? i had a "mac classic" once but it seemed a bit limited.

Charlie Balogh (chainq@mastodon.social)'s status on Tuesday, 22-Aug-2023 03:10:55 JST Charlie Balogh @mntmn I have a Performa 475 that I do not really use, if you want something to start experimenting on, or for "long term lease". I haven't really touched it for a year or more.
Full '040/25, a pile of RAM (32MB or 128MB, whichever you prefer - 128MB takes an absolute age to boot due to too long memory test in ROM...), Recapped, in working order. It might even have a PDS network card. Just ping me. Needs a SCSI HDD or Blue/ZuluSCSI, and needs ADB keyboard/mouse.
