I used to be a big time raver in the late 90s. Drugs, electronic dance music, seeing one of my high school's cheerleaders Xed out of her mind, first time I smoked wet, first and only time I ever did mescaline, dropped tons of LSD, ate tons of xtc.
Man, what a time to be alive.
Rabbit in the Moon, Roni Size, Mos Def, Dieselboy, AK1200, DJ Dara, Bad Boy Bill, Robert Humpty Vision, DJ Irene, The Crystal Method, and I could go on and on listening all these superstars in the rave world.
All these awesome ass shows, and all while I was under 18.
No cell phone, no tracking where I'm at. Push my car out the driveway and down the street before I crank the engine and head out for the night.
Kids these days will never get to experience shit like that. I'm not saying that is a bad thing, but it's a lot better than the terminally online generation.
I had a family PC, and the only things I would use it for was AIM(AOL Instant Messinger) and the local rave message board.
