     After the initial launch failed they clearly gave up, slapped a bandaid on it with new genesis and squeezed what little out of it they could.

     giving it to a bunch of troons to publish in the west wasn't bad enough, they had to kill off the game at the source to ensure it's dead in JP too

     @Meemoo @Ronnie21093 They pretty much made NGE a discount Genshin Impact to chase those shekels.
     
     What is really funny is how they also copied Genshin's biggest flaw that most Genshin players have complained about since launch: The lack of permanent content in favor of timed events.
