     @arstechnica So in other words everyone will get a dollar. The lawyers will get a couple hundred grand and Scan Disk will just keep going on like it didn't happen and was the cost of doing business.

     @arstechnica What magic sorcery is going on with storage nowadays that warrant firmware updates? Floppy and optical disks didn't need these
