     Gross jew stuff aside, the idea of spending your sabbath (the REAL sabbath, there kikel) as an actual rest day is nice. Dedicated rest is homey and cozy, the candles are a nice touch.

     I should have some candlelit nights sometime

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Reminds me of a talk a while back on the subject of elevator mechanical and servicing that covered the subject of "shabbat mode" elevators.
     
     One of the presenters said something to the effect of "every time you get on and off the elevator you're activating the door optical switch, so I'm not sure this mode fools god." The awkward silence that followed was exquisite.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @DemonSixOne It bothers the jew that it isn't explicitly sabbath mode, or it bothers someone else that their fridge has a sabbath mode (renamed to holiday mode)?

     @Alex1488 jews can’t “make fire” on the sabbath, which they’ve interpreted to classify power as. So this allows them to use “fire” without actively having a hand in it

     @WashedOutGundamPilot A few months ago when BAPs dox came out a lot of the big e right accounts were making posts like "haha I love Jews now, antisemitism is so low status!" But remnantposting was the only person I saw calling those guys out.
