It’s the only lifeline that matters, even after shit monetization and all the grift that happens w/ superchats. If you get kicked off there, you won’t recover without significant (i.e 3M+ subs and almost $1M views on new banner content) popularity.
  All these off-youtube guys circle the drain (a term I use a lot, because that’s what they’re all doing at one speed or another) thinking they can survive off an ever-dwindling fanbase. But people lose interest, forget about you, don’t renew subscriptions, or get tired of your constantly decreasing quality.
