     @Xeraser @ChristiJunior Speaking of which, I've been playing the Pokemon TCG video game on Nintendo Online and it reminded me of the extent to which the Pokemon TCG was stally, coin-flip heavy bullshit back in the day. No idea if it's any better now. Yu-gi-oh has a ton of BS in its own right, but you're nowhere near as likely to brick out with a competently built deck, and there's so much more consistency.

     Even during the GX era the YGO meta was insufferably boring. As much as I love to bitch about 5DS and Synchros making the game unapproachable for anyone who doesn't spend hours a day on it the meta was so much more *eugh* diverse.
