     @ChristiJunior @Bad_Banner I believe this to be the case, yes: there was a media blitz at the time for Surfing Pikachu, which did have a separate Pokedex entry on Yellow if you went to a Nintendo meet up (usually a Babbage's, Toys-R-Us or some other store)
