     The verdict — of “not responsible by reason of mental disease or defect” on one count of murder and 23 assault charges — means Rojas will likely be committed to a mental health facility, instead of facing a lengthy prison term.

     It’s up to the judge to permanently commit him with no chance of release since the jury failed here. Even if you think this guy is not mentally capable, that’s even more reason he should go to prison for 25+ years because he’s a danger to himself and society.
