@ItsSkyDragonz This won't cure the problem of uninteresting OSTs in new games but one thing I do is first launch kodi. I have upnp/dnla and airplay playback enabled in kodi in its settings. Then I open the game and turn down the in-game music. I can then use doubletwist, a music app on my phone, to stream music to kodi over dnla (it can also use airplay). That way I can set up my own playlists of my own music for particular games or individual missions within them.

Every time I try an indie game its either made by troons and is insanely cringy or its decent, but pretty bland.
For example, tunic. So far a fairly fun game. Gameplay is a mix of a zelda clone and muh souls like, with dodgeroll, iframes, and a flask system. Besides this, very fun. But playing it feels completely empty even during intense fights, because for some reason, they chose this as the song that plays the whole game even during fights... Yeah...
