     I like how all these charts are supposed to help you eyeball a turn in an unfamiliar port, but I betcha most 10 yr CA’s on the line would tell you “yeah I just eyeball it and do what feels right”

     maybe at most the smart, A- guys would tell you they use a reference point like the tip to iron-sight their movement, but I don’t think you can even see it out the front windows on an erj

     They Do have a vision diagram…..you cannot see the wing. So..cool? Not sure what queues you would use to park, other than the idea you don’t need them because you’re not landing on tiny GA runways in the middle ofnowhere

     Like every other airliner this size and larger you're reliant on marshalling by ground crew. If you're landing one of these away from terminal services, parking is a least concern as probably the next order after getting stopped is to evacuate the aircraft.

     @DemonSixOne Embraer 145. It’s on the bigger end but there are a few in the charter world….not totally impossible someone would land at some unsupported field during a pseudo emergency

     Need an assistant looking out passenger windows. And more charts showing geometry looking out 2nd, 3rd, 4th row windows .. ?

     @not_br549 @DemonSixOne I really don’t quite get how it works, unless you have the copilot run back to row 11 for a callout. Heaven knows I’m not having one of the ladies take up that responsibility

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @not_br549 All hypothetical but I guess if you knew that you were flying into an unattended airfield, have a ground crew that you disembark before you leave the OFA. One of the perks of the ERJ-145 and CRJ series planes is that the main cabin door is also your air stairs.

     @not_br549 @DemonSixOne Yeah….I foresee a glut of them on the used market, lots of operators really overextended over the last couple years in the boom from people fleeing airlines for private aviation.

     Rich people got tired of paying a couple thou for 1st class and then putting up with covid nannery, so they just got fractional cards and chartered aircraft instead. I don’t think it’s too sustainable, and many of the smaller ones overextended (of course)
