     It has its use cases when you don't 100% trust the party joining your terminal and also, it's faster then adding a pubkey for ssh.
     Write and command and share a link, it can even be used in the browser

     Yeah but tmate proxies it up and doesn't require the users to both have access to the server. You can manage the tmate window and give view-only access.
     It has some cool addons features

     Well you can also do this with tmux. Two users can attach to one session.

     Somehow, I’ve used ssh for years without knowing about ssh-copy-id. My Mac has it, too. Thank you!
