   Should I play Japanese games in English (and Spanish) knowing that the translations are bad or should I keep waiting for my Japanese to be good enough to read them? Big questions, big questions :puddicat_think:

     @locagainstwall I can do that but is the same as playing it with translation. I will not find out what they are saying 🤣

     @Alt_Name You won't learn what they are saying if you never apply what you know :zt_shrug: Waiting until you "know enough" is a silly endeavor, because chances are it will never be enough. I just started playing my games in Japanese and watching my anime raw once I had some basic vocabulary and grammar down and improved from there. Immersion is the best way to get better, and having fun makes it easier to remember things. Just start with something simple, something with furigana preferably. Most Nintendo games are a good start
