Gotta think the Ukie Death toll is over 250K by this point
- cool_boy_mew and Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks like this.

@DW2 A good quick and dirty heuristic is simply to take what the US is claiming as Russian Federation casualties (KIA/WIA) and simply flip "RF" to "Ukraine"
This seems to match Russian MoD reports as well
-
@TrevorGoodchild the fuckin hohols have thrown 60K into Bakhmut alone. It's gotten to the point they had to postpone their planned counter-offensive around Zaporizhzhia.
-
@GrantTK Tbf a lot of those guys don't wanna fight, but they and their families are killed if they desert. I've literally seen of video of that happening
-
@DW2 Imagine dying for Larry Fink because you're in denial of the fact that you're ethnically a Russian.
-
@sickburnbro @DW2 There is a level of pain that can break anyone collectively (there will be individual holdouts that can be isolated and dealt with). The Japanese experience demonstrates this. Russia will simply continue to turn the dial up to that level.
This isn't a mystery; they have openly stated that it is their policy. And they have the resources to back it.
So it goes :putin1:

@TrevorGoodchild @DW2 lol "polls say most of ukranians want to keep fighting" but I'm sure they aren't cooking those numbers, right?
-
@TrevorGoodchild @DW2 I've been saying "when will the Ukrainian morale snap?"
the baltic mindset is ok with grinding death, and is ok with being lied to - but what about both at the same time?
-
@TrevorGoodchild @DW2 for sure. But I'm thinking about how rapid changes in mental state can induce breaks. Similar to the known phenomenon of people being at higher risk of suicide when they start antidepressants.
So if ukranians were ok with the grinding death, but they've swallowed the "we're winning" lie - and then it turns out they've had horrendous amounts of death AND they're losing?
