   It's also shaded differently. I think it's intentional to give the enemy an otherworldly quality but whether it looks good or not is a matter of opinion. It bothers me less than the issues with the humanoid characters, personally. I'm less bothered by 3d machines/monsters/environments though a lot of shows just use incredibly shitty looking CG for those since they don't think it matters. The new gundam has been a breath of fresh air in that regard since the mechs are mostly 2d

     @animeirl @thatbrickster @D-Droid @coolboymew speaking of gundam: Hathaway's flash did surprisingly well with the CG for the mobile suits.
