     Maybe but I'm not impressed with the trailers so far and I've yet to see an all 3d anime that didn't look awkward and at least kinda bad. The best use of CG I've seen in anime is probably chainsaw man and that was still split 50/50 on whether it actually enhanced the shot or just looked jank as hell.

     I've seen hoseki no kuni and while they made a lot of interesting use of 3dcg I still don't think it made up for all the shortcomings of the technology. It's been a few years but from what I remember action scenes were pretty cool slower stuff, particularly close up character animations and facial expressions often looked downright awful.

     the clip you just linked also suffers from this. For example at 0:37 the face looks pasted on to a 3d model and the amount of motion in the camera rest of the scene coupled with the face graphic being completely static for multiple seconds just looks really awkward to me.

     @animeirl I think I see what you mean but it's subtle. After I saw it once I couldn't unsee it completely. Her face looks dead and doesn't match the gasp, or move for it.
