I Am A Corrupt Official, Yet They Say I Am A Loyal Minister!
>appointed school disciplinarian
>immediately harvest thousands of times your annual salary from the arrogant children of corrupt officials
>called out in Imperial court for doing this
>defense: this is nonsense! How is it possible for children to have so much money! And children of Imperial court officials, no less! Their salary couldn't possibly support the amount of money you say I've stolen!
>the parents you've stolen from are forced to agree that the charge is impossible on its face
this is a good one. It's not just face-slapping. The MC is a shameless and bold liar who doesn't care how many enemies he makes, and instead of everyone else constantly misjudging him (so that they can be face-slapped for it), it's more often that his enemies have him accurately pegged and he is the one always confused about why his allies are sticking by his side.
MC's point of view: he's just too handsome. That's why the Empress hasn't executed him, his face is just that attractive!
- Machismo repeated this.

also, tons of gags. When a princess cites the rumors about the MC as proof of how corrupt he is, she says "The people's eyes are clear!"
in reply: "You can't fool me! The people's eyes are white and black! Half white, half black!"
