     I asked a girl out who I see walking around the area along the same route I do my running/cycling, just in reverse. Actually, I just asked her if she'd be interested in a walking buddy since I always see her walking alone. She gave me her phone to add myself as a contact and then I didn't see her again for a month. Figured she started taking a different route entirely to avoid me but she did say she was going out of town for a while on vacation so I wasn't sure what the deal was. Drove passed her the other day, wondered if maybe I gave her the wrong number by mistake or something and she was waiting to run into me again. Blitzed home, got in my running clothes, and got out there to conveniently pass by her. We both said hi with a smile and that was it.

     @c Just forget it. Whenever a girl ghosted me I’d just treat her like it was square 1 again.

     I had a fren who got a concussion and had a habit of just feigining ignorance because “everything was fuzzy” and it was easier than trying to remember who he knew. I came to appreciate it because it gets rid of their triumph of imagining you being all broken up by it, as long as you can keep a poker face (austistic face blindness helps here too)

     “hey sorry about not calling……I….”

     (you give a quizzical look like you’re thinking you asked her to grab your mail or something)

     “y’know, you wanted to be walking buddies?”
