I think I'm gonna buy a little deep fryer and make some beef tallow.
I wont be denied good chicken tendies anymore. :doge_texan:
-
@MordredSimp @SnugSmug @Yagamaska Deep frying isn't even much of an issue, it's mostly bogus claims.
-
@SnugSmug @Yagamaska Beef Tallow is healthier too. Well as healthy as Deep Frying Food can be, but still. What you need a pot, some beef tallow or oil and you can deep fry it, sleep it around, it's very easy to do fried Chicken desu
-
@MordredSimp @Yagamaska You can do it, I just don't think they come out as good.
People only seem to think of fast food when it comes to frying.
What makes fast food so bad is that they reuse the oil even after it breaksdown and is really bad for you.
If you clean and only re-use the oil/fat at home a few times then it's fine.
And I think with tallow it doesn't even breakdown like oil does, so you just have to keep it clean.

@SnugSmug @Yagamaska Who the fuck bakes their Chicken Tendies
-
@Yagamaska I don't want them baked.
I want them fried.
-
@SnugSmug
Can't you just bread them and bake them?
-
@supersid333 @MordredSimp @SnugSmug @Yagamaska :thinkinghrr: I'm not sure what we're talking about anymore. I am talking about healthwise. There's very little oil being absorbed even when considering the breading and if you don't use the oil about 300 times, you shouldn't see a problem.
Usually, for meat, you can recycle (clean first) the oil about 3 or maximum, 4 times? For fries, you can do it like 10-15 times or something. :kekw:

@Immahnoob @MordredSimp @SnugSmug @Yagamaska It's not deep frying, but pan frying is also not hard to learn. Just gotta be careful not to add too much oil and remember to NOT pour water into hot oil.
-
@MordredSimp @SnugSmug @Yagamaska @supersid333 No, they don't "nasty side effects", it is true that fat is better though, but good luck finding just "fat" in some places.
-
@Immahnoob @supersid333 @SnugSmug @Yagamaska I advise again Seed Oils, as those have nasty health side affects, beef tallow is a better alternative.
-
@Immahnoob @SnugSmug @Yagamaska @supersid333 Theres several health conditions linked to the use of seed oils, Fats are better as they're natural, if you want to use a fat alternative, Peanut Oil is better

@MordredSimp @SnugSmug @Yagamaska @supersid333 I know I know, and eggs are also "bad for your health", salt is going to end your life in an instant and if you eat beef, you die.
Oils have been used since forever for cooking meals.
