   @weanoob @hellhammer666 everything surrounding Barbie is weird.
   There were critics saying they didn't like it because of the "muh patriarchy" themes which made the movie being something else (IIRC one of them said something like "for the videogame nerds to understand how I feel, imagine if the Mario movie was made by people who hated the game and they turned Luigi evil just because"). And some of those critics were "shitlibs", but they weren't more vocal about it because they would be cancelled.
   Then, I'm pretty sure that some "right wingers" and "conservatives" must have ran their mouth about the movie being "woke" and shit like that.
   
   Internet nazis, on the other hand, love Ryan Gosling and found the movie awesome and they wish to institute the patriarchy as it's depicted there.
   
   So yeah, online, specially in our circles, we haven't seen anyone complaining about the movie, but probably there are some boomers complaining.
   
   
   Also, shitlibs are trying to push the narrative that right wingers in general are criticizing Barbie and the "go woke go broke" thing is now moot, because Barbie is a "woke" movie that was a huge success. When actually, it looks more like the "muh patriarchy" angle is played as sattire, even if unintentionally, due to how stupidly it's portrayed, and the movie ends up being a "coming of age" for Ken, who is trying to go from "doll designed exclusively to be Barbie's boyfriend" to be his own person, with Barbie apologizing to him at the end of movie and all.
   
   
   So, yeah, things are weird.
