   does anyone know if the MS office 365 web apps are fully functional on a linux desktop using a chromium based browser?
   
   I'm pretty sure Zoom is fine. My daughter is coming down and she has some work she's going to have to do but doesn't have a laptop to bring with her so I am trying to make accommodations.

     If I need to I can setup windows for her, but if those are the only programs she actually needs she probably doesn't need it.

     @thatguyoverthere They did work for me on mac about three years ago or so — there should be nothing Windows-specific in there. I don't believe much changed since then, they probably even improved Chromium compatibility as WebView2 they use nowadays is basically it.
     But like you said, in worst case you can just go with a VM. Windows installer doesn't even ask for serial number these days, it just doesn't let you change the wallpaper until activated 😄

     @thatguyoverthere last time I used the MS office through the web apps it worked fine on Pop_OS with Firefox. This was just a few months ago. I would think it should work on chromium as well.

     @darthmew @m0xee yeah that was kind of what I expected. I am thinking this will work fine for her.
