@istvan @Bick @JustJohnny @c @SecretFriendlyDutchBoomer Right now they have me on percocet, morphine, and ativan. It takes off enough of the edge to be bearable which I'm fine with. It's just the timing of the fractured ribs with the heart stuff that makes it a massive pain in the ass.

  You're probably between a rock and a hard place there, not many alternatives if any.
  But I know if I was taking all those goofballs I'd feel like I was at deaths door.
  Sometimes you have to wonder if those pill merchants are doing more harm than good?

They cut back a lot of the stuff I could take which was over the counter like Ibuprofen and exederin. Ice packs help and I also use lidocaine patches (FYI if you ever fuck up a rib those patches are amazing at helping take the edge off).
