   Apparently, a picture from another game ruined a previous game. Just ran into it on Twitter as Kinochet retweeted this post: https://twitter.com/Naziro_/status/1685816379344109568 The replies show great distress. I need context on what was devastating about it. I may have forgotten some details about the plot after I 100%'d it last year. :pepe_kkk:

     @Rasterman In involves Xenoblade 3 confirming that Xenoblade 2 had a harem ending - Rex (the guy you always make fun of) grew up to become a GigaChad who married and impregnated Pyra, Mythra AND Nia the catgirl.
     
     This apparently made a lot of leftists and feminists upset, despite the fact that Xenoblade 2 made clear that all 3 of those girls had feelings for Rex. I don't know if it's because they consider the harem ending inherently misogynist, or because it involves domesticating "strong independent women" like Mythra and Nia, but there sure has been a lot of butthurt over that ending, which makes it all the better.

     RATIONALE: the traumatized response will sear he details of the spoiler into your memory, and you when watching the media you will 'be spoiled' largely as a desire to validate the intensity of your response.
     
     RIGHT: fucking ignore it
     RATIONALE: you'll easily forget what isn't important to you, and you'll easily focus on the media instead

     @ChristiJunior Aren't they fans of the game, though? Why be upset about an ending that glorifies the protagonist? It's like complaining Mario rescued Peach in the end. :pepe_feelsweird:
     
     Not to mention Rex is basically a thinly disguised caricature of Lev Bronstein so leftists should adore the ending showing the chad international communist getting the women.

     @Rasterman They're leftists before they are Xenoblade fans. Remember, you'll find plenty of Star Wars fans that defend the Disney Trilogy, hell, you'll even find some Lord of the Rings "fans" who defend the Amazon Girlboss Galadriel Lord of da Rangz show.
