It’s definitely nice when politicians say things I agree with but nice in a drug high sort of way. I can’t agree voting is meaningful at least on a national level, there are too many top-down intermediary processes but I definitely agree with the sentiment about the existing political tribes. I will say it mostly seems like a media phenomenon, normal working class people face-to-face are mostly independent and easiest to talk to when the right social context permits imho
