     At that price, who even cares?
     Also I understand biodiesel has significantly better lubricity because de-sulfurization process really trashes long chain hydrocarbons.

     Methanol is cheaper than water, I'm not sure about the lye but I don't think it's that expensive.

     @cjd I actually doubt price is the main factor. More than likely it's a skills issue. Most people seem almost averse to learning new skills. Many seem convinced that they have better ways to spend their time. You don't want to miss the next series on Netflix do you?
