What it's real purpose is might be more opaque than the 4channer is letting on, but they do invest other peoples money (likely with guidance by their tools) in things that may not be aligned with their ideals :shrug:

Most large companies are using machine learning to do all kinds of things, and I'd be pretty surprised to learn that one of the largest companies in the world is not leveraging it for their own decision making.

     @11112011 if you say so. I don't use 4chan myself, but from what I have seen there is more "non-bullshit" than many other parts of the internet. I'm sure there is plenty of bullshit there too, but your claim that Aladdin doesn't have any machine learning technology sounds like bullshit to me. I agree that it's not as clear cut and plainly obvious as the 4channer stated what it's used for, but I also believe that the system is used to make decisions that are aligned with DEI directives.
