@shanecelis Linux is, if anything, neutral. More cynically, it’s for enterprise with personal use benefitting as a side-effect.
Don’t get me wrong, my daily driver is Linux and I’m very happy it exists. But surveillance capitalism also runs on Linux and Linux is perfectly happy with that.
As with the web, its neutrality means those working for the common good can use and adapt it for their needs. Albeit with far fewer resources than the Googles and IBMs of the world.
