   —1x additional USB-C (from internal USB2.0)
   —1x DisplayPort (made from eDP that is normally used for the laptop display)
   —1x USB-C that interfaces dual UARTs via CP2105: UART console and system control
   —2x RCA for stereo audio
   —1x RJ45 for 1GbE

     @purpleidea no, that's just a feedthrough. we're using the same motherboard as the laptop, and it has rj45 on the inside

     @purpleidea if you need a lot of ethernet then the solution would be to use a pcie card for that

     @mntmn Aha! Feed-through, interesting, thanks for explaining!

     pci-express is a good option for more ethernet, but that means that for the very common case of using two active ethernet ports, this blocks you from also using a non-ethernet pcie card.

     I think this makes your product less competitive in the market compared to what's already readily available. Still excited for the open HW aspects though!
