   Any age restricted video will not play. This is a google API thing you need to provide a cookie with an of you account to get past it.

     You can but you need to provide a cookie.

     There's a browser extension that can dump the cookie from the youtube website, you just pass it with this option

     @splitshockvirus I don't remember downloading age-restricted videos using yt-dlp with a cookie file though. I think it works without a cookie file as well.
