   In elementary school we were reading some short stories, I don't remember why. May have been a standardized test or something, but it was for reading comprehension.
   
   This story was pretty fucking crazy, but its exactly the kind of thing that would pass for real news in 2023.
   
   It was about some friends who went vacationing in the mountains, where they encountered fresh, clean, unpolluted air as opposed to the city where they were from. It made them so uncomfortable and disoriented they stopped a guy and paid him money to let them huff exhaust fumes from his tailpipe.
