   most of the "public enemies" throughout history have been people that the upper classes disliked and complained to the elite about. what the lower classes thought is largely lost to history because they didn't publish anything. you usually only get to hear what they think when there's a riot.

     @thor I'd say what's recorded in history about riots is probably more often of a caricature of what the lower classes thought.
