Why is a French Servant summoned in a Japanese HGW set in the 1500's-1600's? And no, Heracles/Medea/Medusa being summonable in FSN is not an excuse
It's not even original Jeanne either, it's Gilles' fanfic OC of Jeanne

@Moto_Chagatai My initial guess would be something to do with popularity
-
@Moto_Chagatai Her master is a scarred survivor of Amakusa Shirou's failed Christian rebellion, so he summoned an angry Christian (That it's Jalter specifically has to do with her popularity though bo doubt).

@Ronnie21093 @Moto_Chagatai Jeanne Is the 3rd Most popular Fate Character.
1. Saber
2. Rin
3. Jeanne
4. Faggot Bait Astolfo

@zero Didn't Rin had a catalyst?
-
@Moto_Chagatai what do you mean? time is not relevant to servants being summonable, fucking future emiya being summonable while he was still alive didn't tell you that?
-
@Moto_Chagatai oh you're questioning why they picked her for the story, not that it shouldn't be possible?
-
@zero I was just saying that Jalter shouldn't normally be summonable because she's Gilles' OC of OG Jeanne but apparently FSR's story (and FGO itself too) kind of circumvents that and now Jalter is also recorded in the Throne of Heroes
