     Elon Musk reportedly bought http://x.com in the 90s for $1 million and used it for his payments startup.

     Then it was merged into PayPal.

     Then Musk tried to get rid of PayPal and call it X -- and he was forced out of PayPal.

     He's still trying to make X a thing. 😂
