     If Joe's got some corrupt business dealings, let's lay out the receipts, investigate, and prosecute. Nobody should be immune. But it sounds to me like there isn't any concrete evidence any prosecutor would stand behind.

     @feld @thatguyoverthere @reay He's also a sitting President and, unlike Trump, has the tacit backing of the entire power structure (at least at the moment).
     I think the only way this even remotely hurts him is if the power structure has had enough of his senior moments.

     @feld @reay do you make every argument as if you are arguing against every single "conspiracy theorist" you've ever interacted with? What is the grand conspiracy theorized here? I honestly don't even know what you are talking about. I just know that there was a good bit of open information from Hunter's laptop and icloud backup or whatever that suggested that Hunter and his uncle were trading on the Biden name and that Joe may have received some kick backs on that. It's all open information at this point. What exactly is impossible about that? Truly confused

     There are millions of government employees up and down the eastern seaboard and if there was anything close to what the conspiracy theorists allude to there would be whistleblowers.
     
     You can't possibly keep a secret that big with so many people involved. It's just impossible.

     @feld @reay also we do have whistleblowers from time to time, but after the wikileaks fiasco there are probably a lot of people afraid to move. The lengths our government is willing to go to target leakers and journalists that aide them are long.
