❔ What is the best choice for a minimalist podcast app for android that has no ads?
My current paid app added ads to the paid version.
Edit: it is fine if it is not free
Edit 2: key word Minimalist

@makeheroism i know, i'm look for people to put in their opinion on the choices
I know it's a PITA to manage the acquisition and disposal of mp3 files. I know streaming is the new hip thing the kids are all about.
But the answer you seek has been in front of you this whole time.
It's ironic that the show borne of Adam's identification of the basicness of the system is the same guy who will spur the needless complexity of 'streaming.'
Not punkin-chunkin' the idea of streaming. Just that it seems control has been ceded by pursuing the expectation.
As someone who just downloads the show, or uses winamp live, the timeline is awash in bad app declarations and petitions for better.
@CSBHOTSQUAD i mean, i just want simple, i don't care about anything but what the first apps did: subscribe, auto download
This is my point. All toots and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
@CSBHOTSQUAD @Zerglingman @SirRichard what's a toot is that like an x?
I mean a bookmark to the url for the stream will open in any browser. All of this tech opportunism creates the need for 'the BEST app.'
My point being people will chase apps and toot about it. Fine. Do that.
The apps are the problem, IMHO.
I had a tablet. Touch devices suck. Phones seem little better. More processing power; innately stuck in their ecosystems.
Can't you open it from a prompt? LOL I kill myself.
@Zerglingman @CSBHOTSQUAD @SirRichard I hear the battery life on those is terrible. I mostly carry my phone around so I can tether my ThinkPad if need be. Usually turned off.
I admit. I have worked from home for 12 years now.
I put my pants on one leg at a time, though.
But when I leave my house, I cost 500 times more to track.
All through my late teens and twenties, I never had ID.
My Dad called me Invisible Mike.
I know I can't keep the creeps off my pooter. But damned if I'm gonna tether myself when I'm away from this thing.
Link me bruh.
Is that the video card? I can search that.
Gotta gist at least?
The odds I'd type 'gist' twice in a day is concerning, considering I haven't in ten years.
@Zerglingman @CSBHOTSQUAD @SirRichard this is why most neets prefer to live in storm drains and travel by tunnel
