     The only ones who seems to be doing something good are framework and system76.
     Hopefully they'll go back with real keyboards and 3.5slot and slim optical drives one day instead of the castrated filth we have today.

     @raccoon @dushman Framework almost does that.
     As far my knowledge goes all they lack is cpu sockets instead of direct soldered BGA cpus, since the next model will have a MXM-SIG slot for modular GPUs.
     The ultimate goal would be to have chips firmwares under GPL. Which would bring total proprietary death into reality.

     They don't propose that service sadly, they however could make a partnership with any 3dprinting lulzbot independent owner to propose customisation service for the thing.

     @dushman @getimiskon Remove keyboard, remove screen. Remount screen in keyboard space.
     Build removeable stand.
     Carry real keyboard+mouse, +powered usb hub if necessary.
