Vinyl has a high sample rate, the smallest frequency range and low bit depth if discussed in terms of digital audio.Anyone who tells you vinyl is better is only speaking from a place of nostalgia and is a misguided audiophile.

You could validly argue that analog mediums like vinyl wear out and lose quality over time or are hard to accurately reproduce. -

I'm not arguing Vinyl is terrible, or not nostalgic or worthless to own, but to claim it's higher quality is sheer nonsense

Vinyl has an freq range of around 160hz to 17khz, the preamps of a phono input boost low-end to fake low frequencies not possible to draw on the platter. The sample rate is analog yes, but each run of the record grinds away a small bit of accuracy in that.
It's not hard to translate the lower quality reality of vinyl -

Most vinyl available has been copied from a digital master anyway so it's not even true analog anymore.
