     @graf @coolboymew We also eat raw beef the same way, it's just pork most of the time.

     I have eaten raw (salted) lamb leg that was sitting in a broken fridge for a couple days

     @tyler @graf @coolboymew The reason people potentially get sick from raw ground beef is because the chance that some intestine meat got mixed in, as the packaging is done en masse.
     
     I have an older family member who has a bite of raw beef when cooking usually, and says the taste is completely different from 60-70 years ago.
