     @mntmn I've been using Navidrome for about a year, no problems, works great both via the web interface and Subsonic players like Strawberry.

     @mntmn I've been using Plex. It's intended for video but it makes a really good personal audio server and the app is fairly decent. Not sure how it compares to alternatives but it works with little to no configuration.

     @mntmn Funkwhale sadly is very rough around the edges.

     I tried a bunch of projects ~2 years ago and Jellyfin came out miles ahead anything else as far as UX goes. Not sure about the iPhone story though!

     @emanuel yes, in the meantime i have almost exactly this setup, and works brilliantly (i use play:Sub app though)

     @mntmn I like Navidrome. Simple setup, works great for me. On iOS I use Substreamer as a client. Flawless.
